The Pure.Sink Comfort double stainless steel sink with two spacious 40 x 40 cm basins combines a sleek and timeless design with exceptional practicality. Thanks to the two separate, equally sized basins, this double kitchen sink offers plenty of flexibility while cooking, washing dishes, and preparing meals. The generous sink spaces make this model particularly suitable for families, cooking enthusiasts, and kitchens where intensive cooking takes place daily.
Both sinks have internal dimensions of 400 x 400 mm and a comfortable depth of 178 mm. This allows you to perform various kitchen tasks simultaneously. For example, use one sink to wash pots and dishes, while the other remains available for rinsing vegetables, fruit, and other kitchen utensils.
The Pure.Sink Comfort is made of high-quality 18/10 stainless steel and features sleek, flat bottoms and subtly rounded inner corners with a 10-mm radius. Thanks to its 1-mm flat rim, this double sink is suitable for undermount, top-mount, and flush-mount installation.
With total exterior dimensions of 865 x 440 mm (86.5 x 44 cm), this double stainless steel sink offers two full-size washing areas within a single sleek and functional design.
Double sink with two spacious basins measuring 40 x 40 cm
The Pure.Sink Comfort double kitchen sink is designed for those who need extra space and flexibility during daily kitchen tasks. Unlike a one-and-a-half sink, this model features two fully equivalent and spacious basins.
The left sink basin has internal dimensions of 400 x 400 mm and a depth of 178 mm. This basin offers ample space for washing pots, plates, glasses, and other everyday kitchenware.
The right sink basin also has internal dimensions of 400 x 400 mm and a depth of 178 mm. This means it offers the same functionality as the left basin, allowing you to use both sink areas flexibly.
Thanks to the symmetrical layout, you can easily separate different tasks. For example, you can wash dishes in one sink and rinse them in the other, or use both sinks separately for meal preparation.
The total exterior dimensions are 865 x 440 mm. These dimensions include both sinks and the surrounding rim. The interior dimensions of 40 x 40 cm refer exclusively to the individual sink basins.
Two full-size sinks for maximum kitchen convenience
A double stainless steel kitchen sink with two 40 x 40 cm basins offers several advantages over a traditional single sink. Thanks to the two spacious basins, you can perform different tasks side by side without having to constantly clear the same sink area.
- Two equally sized sinks: both basins have internal dimensions of 40 x 40 cm and offer the same functionality.
- Extra-spacious washing capacity: ideal for washing larger pots, dishes, baking dishes, and other kitchenware.
- Dual sink areas: use one basin for washing dishes and the other for rinsing tableware or ingredients.
- Convenient depth: Both sinks are 178 mm deep and provide ample space for daily kitchen tasks.
- Practical while cooking: use one basin for washing fruits and vegetables while the other remains available for washing dishes.
- Great for families: the spacious double sink is especially convenient when the kitchen is in heavy use.
- Flexible layout: Both basins can be used separately and have the same dimensions.
- Timeless stainless steel design: the sleek design complements a wide range of kitchen styles.
Since both sinks are the same size, you can decide for yourself which one to use for specific tasks. This provides extra flexibility during busy times in the kitchen.
Suitable for undermount, top-mount, and flush-mount installation
The Pure.Sink Comfort double stainless steel sink PCM404040-02 is designed for three different installation options. This allows the sink to be integrated into a variety of kitchen designs and compatible countertops.
- Flush-mount: The sink is installed flush with the countertop for a sleek and virtually seamless look. Thanks to its 1 mm flat rim, this model is particularly well-suited for this installation method.
- Under-mount: The sink is installed beneath the countertop, allowing the countertop to flow seamlessly and making it easy to keep clean. This gives the kitchen a modern and minimalist look.
- Top-mount: The sink is installed from above into the countertop, with the rim resting on the countertop. This installation method is suitable for a wide variety of kitchen layouts.
Thanks to these versatile installation options, the double sink is suitable for both new kitchens and renovation projects.
Always check in advance whether the chosen countertop is suitable for the desired installation method and whether there is sufficient space available for both sinks and the necessary drain connections.
High-quality 18/10 stainless steel with a timeless look
The Pure.Sink Comfort double sink is made of high-quality 18/10 stainless steel. This strong and hygienic material is particularly well-suited for daily use in the kitchen and is known for its durability and low-maintenance properties.
The classic stainless steel finish gives the sink a timeless look that pairs perfectly with modern, industrial, and classic kitchen designs.
The sleek rectangular design, flat bottoms, and subtly rounded inner corners create a clean and minimalist look. Thanks to its functional design, both sinks can be used practically without compromising the kitchen’s aesthetic.
Stainless steel pairs perfectly with countertops made of natural stone, composite, ceramic, and other suitable materials. The neutral color also complements white, black, gray, and wood kitchen cabinet fronts beautifully.
Pair this double stainless steel sink with a matching kitchen faucet in stainless steel or chrome for a harmonious look. A black or Gun Metal kitchen faucet can also create a stylish contrast with the timeless stainless steel surface.
Sleek design with a 10 mm inner radius
Both sinks feature inner corners with a 10 mm radius. These subtly rounded corners combine the sleek look of modern rectangular sinks with the ease of cleaning that rounded inner corners provide.
Thanks to this design, dirt, water residue, and food scraps can be removed more easily than with fully square corners. The flat bottoms contribute to the modern design and provide a practical surface for washing dishes, glasses, and cookware.
The combination of the rectangular shape, a 1 mm flat rim, and subtly rounded corners creates a high-quality look that complements modern kitchen design.
Ideal for families and heavy kitchen use
The Pure.Sink Comfort double sink (40 + 40 x 40 cm ) is particularly practical for kitchens where there is a lot of cooking and dishwashing. The two spacious basins allow different tasks to be clearly separated from one another.
For example, use one basin to clean large pots and baking dishes, while the other remains available for washing vegetables or rinsing dishes. Even when multiple people are working in the kitchen at the same time, the double sink offers extra convenience.
Each basin is 40 cm wide and 178 mm deep. This makes both sinks suitable for daily use and offers significantly more flexibility than a single sink.
This spacious layout makes the Pure.Sink Comfort particularly well-suited for family kitchens, spacious kitchen islands, and other kitchen layouts where practical ease of use is a priority.
Hygienic and easy to maintain
The Pure.Sink Comfort double stainless steel sink is designed with hygiene and practical ease of use in mind. Thanks to the smooth stainless steel surface and the slightly rounded inner corners, dirt, water residue, and food scraps can be easily removed.
The stainless steel basket strainer helps catch larger food scraps before they enter the drain. The included Easyclean overflow contributes to ease of use and helps reduce the risk of water flowing over the edge of the sink when the drain is closed.
To maintain the beautiful stainless steel finish, we recommend cleaning both sinks regularly with a soft cloth and a mild detergent. Avoid harsh cleaning agents, steel wool, scouring pads, and abrasive cleaning products.
After cleaning, rinse the surfaces with clean water and then dry them with a soft cloth. This will help prevent water spots and limescale buildup as much as possible.
With regular maintenance, both sinks will retain their well-maintained appearance and remain practical for everyday use.
